Breeding Argentine Polo Horses .
Federico Cendoya’s polo ponies are registered as part of the Argentine Polo Breeding Association, a mark of quality and authenticity in the world of Argentine polo horses. He offers ponies from low-goal to high-goal players. Offering a select group of polo horses for sale, Federico provides options suited for players at all levels—from low-goal to high-goal competition.
Each year, a maximum of 15 of the best fillies are selected, bred, and trained exclusively for polo. These young polo ponies begin their breaking process between 2.5 and 3.5 years of age at Federico’s Polo Breed program in Argentina. After two to three years of specialized training, they are ready to play a full season and even travel overseas. Typically, a polo pony reaches competitive maturity at around 6 years old.
Federico’s polo argentino horses have an impressive record, with many competing in the prestigious Argentine Open and earning “Best Playing Pony” titles in tournaments across the USA & India.
The breeding program places a strong focus on proven bloodlines. Broodmares must demonstrate exceptional ability and the temperament needed to pass on their qualities. Stallions are carefully selected from top Polo Argentino breed lines, ensuring excellent conformation and competitive potential in every polo horse for sale.

Polo Pony Training Program .
Taming is a three-year process that starts when the colt is 2 years old, fundamentally working with long reins. The following year the pony spends most of its time training with linear exercises.
The horse then participates in practice games in a low-pressure competitive environment until eventually it is exposed to professional level competition.
